Methane gas is one of the gases which can be produced with the Cosmic Ray Technology system. This gas was initially produced in the early 2000s and early 2020s, showing to be effective. The production of the CH4 is in solid state system and can operate at room temperature and pressure. This system was shown in 2023, demonstration location being to the Chinese Gas corporation in Beijing. This technology for the second time was shown to one of the world leaders in very recent past. In 2025 this technology will be commercialized. The advantage of this technology is that one can produce gas at the point of need, be it in the cooker in the house, be it the power station to generate power, be it for other applications in space technology.
